Privacy Policy

This English text is provided for convenience only. The Turkish version at gallerici.app/gizlilik is the binding text and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

At GalericiApp ("the App", "we") we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect when you use the GalericiApp application, how we use it, and what rights you have. It is prepared in line with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and related regulations.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Details

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Hashed password (bcrypt, not reversible)

2.2 Company Details

  • Company name
  • Tax number (optional)
  • Address, phone, email (optional)

2.3 Business Data (Entered by You)

  • Vehicle details (plate, VIN, engine, trim and so on)
  • Vehicle photos
  • Expense records and invoice files
  • Customer details (name, phone, Turkish national ID number, address)
  • Sales records and contract files

Important: Your customers' Turkish national ID numbers are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. No one, including GalericiApp staff, can read that data without the encryption key.

2.4 Automatically Collected Data

  • Device type and operating system version
  • In-app events (feature usage, crash reports)
  • IP address (for security, kept in logs for 30 days)

2.5 Advertising and Measurement (Free Plan Only)

We show ads to free plan users through Google AdMob. AdMob may access some data in order to personalise those ads:

  • Anonymous advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID)
  • Device type and app usage data

On iOS 14.5 and later we ask for permission under the App Tracking Transparency framework. If you decline, you will see non-personalised ads instead. Paid plan users see no ads at all, and no advertising identifier is collected from them.

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Payment providers: Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat (to verify subscription status)
  • Cloud infrastructure: your data is hosted on GDPR-compliant servers
  • Legal obligation: a court order or a legal requirement

5. KVKK Article 11 — Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Learn whether your data is being processed
  • Request information about the data we process
  • Ask us to correct incorrect or incomplete data
  • Ask us to delete your data (use "Delete Account" inside the App)
  • Object where processing does not fit its stated purpose
  • Request that your data not be transferred abroad

To exercise these rights, write to us through the contact form with the subject "KVKK and data request". We will respond within 30 days at the latest.

6. Retention Periods

  • Active account data: until the account is deleted
  • After account deletion: kept for 10 years to meet financial and legal obligations (tax, audit); during that period only authorised authorities can access it
  • Log and IP records: 30 days
  • Backups: 30-day rotation

7. Security

  • All data is transmitted encrypted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+)
  • Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
  • Sensitive data such as national ID numbers is encrypted at the database level with AES-256-GCM
  • Data isolation between companies is enforced (multi-tenant architecture)
  • Regular security reviews and backups

8. Cookies

The GalericiApp mobile app does not use cookies. Our website (gallerici.app) uses only the essential technical cookies needed for sign-in and security; we use no advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

GalericiApp is not intended for users under 18. If we find an account belonging to someone under 18, we close it immediately and delete its data.

10. Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will tell you in the App and by email. You can always see the date of the latest change at the top of this page.
